Zhuji Intelligent Embroidery Machine Industrial Cluster Selected for MIIT’s List of Specialized SME Industrial Clusters

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released the announcement of the 2025 (Fourth Batch) Specialized SME Industrial Clusters, along with the review results for the 2022 (First Batch) clusters. The Intelligent Embroidery Machine Industrial Cluster in Zhuji, Zhejiang Province, has been successfully selected for the 2025 (Fourth Batch) list.
According to the Interim Measures for Promoting the Development of Specialized SME Industrial Clusters, MIIT launched the cluster recognition program in 2022 with the goal of guiding industrial clusters to further focus on their core industries, strengthen collaborative networks, enhance innovation vitality, deepen open cooperation, promote digital and green transformation, improve governance and service capabilities, nurture high-quality SMEs, and reinforce the supporting capacity of key links in the industrial chain—ultimately boosting core competitiveness and brand influence.
Following recognition, relevant authorities at all levels are required to formulate medium- and long-term development plans and targeted support policies for their local clusters, increase resource input and policy support, and promote continuous improvement in innovation capability and specialization. MIIT will conduct ongoing monitoring of cluster development and implement dynamic management of the recognized clusters.
Till now, MIIT has recognized a total of 400 specialized SME industrial clusters nationwide, each with a validity period of three years.
